CW4 Erick Swanberg
Post Office just dropped it off, holy cow lots of stuff 4 trees of weapons, left and right HTS pod, Sniper, Litening pods. Hud repeater. If you preordered you get a metal pitot as well. Here are the shots I put it up against the Tamiya and it is pretty close I think it will stand its own, To me it looks like a F-16 and I like it. dthank
Erick, I also just received mine! I agree with your assessment of the kit. It's amazing how much stuff they crammed into the box. Just curious, How did your shipping box look? Mine looks like it may have been handled a bit roughly. CW4 Erick Swanberg
yeah it was a little banged up but coming from overseas that is unbelievable that the inside box was in good shape erick Erick, I also just received mine! twhite80
It looks like a real winner. I think that I will have to pick up one down the road. It looks impressive because it comes with so many extras that some other companies (Hasegawa) make you buy separately. Cool
dthank
I just did a parts check and I discovered that I am missing the Sinper pod sprue (II). I have two of the Lantirn pod sprues (HH) instead. I hope that I can successfully contact Raymond from Lucky Models to try and get the missing sprue..... Joe

Gene K
To me it looks like a F-16 and I like it. I sure agree with you, Erick! Take a look at the two seater front fuselage piece - there are two locating pips that need to be shaved off before you can get a good fit. My initial impression is that these first two kits are the best value of any kit I've bought, and your pictures bear that out! If Kinetic continues to make "further improvements" based on customer feedback, they have to be regarded as the most modeler-responsive company in the annals of plastic modeling. USAFsparkchaser
How does the WAR HUD look I would to see some pictures of that.
fulcrum1
Nice! Is Lucky Model the only source to get them right now? The other e~tailers seem to only have them on pre-order.
Boman
Erick, Is that 3 HTS pods I see on the sprue shot? One left side and 2 right side - or...?

CW4 Erick Swanberg
yep you do also on the wings and vertical fin!! Erick Am I seeing static discharge wicks on the horzontal stabs, etc...?
Gene K
Am I seeing static discharge wicks on the horzontal stabs, etc...? The plastic is soft and a somewhat forgiving, but considering my fumble fingers, I wrapped Tamiya tape around the wicks to anchor them to the wings and stabs. Gene K
... fits almost perfect as does the Aires pit .... Erick, Outside of the seats, is the Aires pit really that much better than the kit's? Gene K
PNW_Modeler
I am hoping I will get a package soon
Hornet78
This is frustrating becasue I;m at work and can't get the pic's on thi sthread. To Gene's question, I have the Aires Pit and all I can say is WOW, you really need to pick one up especially if it fits as others have said. I couldn't wait for the Kinectic release so I bougth single seat Taniya kits for converaion to the family model. and yes I have to sacrifice a few old hasegawa kits for Canopy's and fuselage humps aft of the cockpit so i won't be buying any of these new kits, but hey I'll have fun with the conversion right :) Jim

shion
Just received. What can I say? Stunning. I don't know if I will wait for the new FTD NSAWC viper decal sheet or if I will do a Netherlands Kandahar-based jet with iron. I know, I will buy two. I think it's the very first, no second time I bought a kit, and when I open the box and see the sprues, I say to myself "woo, that's very worth the money spend. " First time, when I opened a 1/48 Hasegawa Hornet box. And now, this morning. Every bag I open, every sprue I stare to, a surprise, a possibilty. "woo, that is crisp, that it's a panel line" "woo these wheels, look at it" "woo, this sniper will be nice on this UK harrier!" "woo, this ALQ pod will be nice with my JADSF rhinos!". "woo, I've got enough iron to make a two/three operational mudhens !" "woo, look at this nose, how could these guys, these rookies in the model kit business could do that  !" "woo, they give too much sprues!". So thank you Kinetic, thank you Raymond.
otis252
Man that looks great! Any chance of some side profile pictures of the front fuse, Erik? Kinetic and Tamiya. Thanks. Chuck
Dave Williams
Erick,Outside of the seats, is the Aires pit really that much better than the kit's? Gene K I think the IPs need help. They are tiny and the detail isn't that good on them, partly because they are so small. They look a lot better on the instruction sheet than they do on the sprue.
