Though a sort of discussion was started around the upcoming Kinetic Kit, ( I'll take a dozen!), and I was planning on adding most of these to the firebomber thread, I'm posting them here so others can find them easier.

First up is an in service CP-121 I took at the Moose Jaw airshow a couple years before I found out I would spend 5 years actually working on Trackers in Summerside

Back in 2005, I made it my goal to travel to all the fire bases in Saskatchewan where I shot these

Tracker that was used as a learning aircraft for a aviation technical school. Now on loan to the Aviodrome Museum. In 2008 they had a evening where they fired up some engines. Tracker was one of them

1. Left engine only

2. 2 engines running and wings folded

And a MLD Tracker.

Since this thread has come alive again, I will add a few more. This time it's a C-1 shot at the NAS Jacksonville Air Show 10/10. I did a quick walkaround and will soon post the pics in honor of the new Kinetic release. Harry

My contribution: the website about the only aircraft carrier the Netherlands Navy had: the Karel Doorman. The Tracker served from 'the Fat Schip' with distinction from 1960-1968. In 1968 the carriers was taken out of service and the Trackers soldiered on until 1975.

Those are great photos of VS-20 birds and the Princeton! My dad was a pilot in VS-20 at that time and may have been flying one of those S2Fs at the time that the photos were taken. I have built several Hasegawa S2F-1 and -2s of VS-20 and am looking forward to building VS-20 Trackers using the Kinetic kit.
