Jorge,

I've seen your work on the LSP forum as my brother (Peterpools) is always referencing your work. Your modeling skills are clearly evident with your highly detailed cockpit. It just doesn't get any better then that. As for the engine, the exhaust headers are really well painted and weathered, as is the rest of the Big Wasp R2800. Looking forward to your continued updates here on ARC.

Thanks guys, Joel thanks for your kind words, as i told Peter once, i am a silent admirer of your work as well as Peter's work on this forum and LSP forum, this work is going to be a slow build cause of the detalis and the lack of free time but i will keep posting here the progress as well is LSP, i have to finish the HUFF too

Best regards

Jorge

Jorge,

Build and post when you can. I will be following your build to the conclusion for sure. Your work is just amazing.

Jorge,

Those engine headers look fantastic. I'm really impressed with the weathering of the tail wheel assembly. It's a real shame that most of it will never see the light of day. At least the engine accessory bay will be visible to some extent.

:woot.gif: Such an awesome build, Jorge!

It brought me back memories of the Baa Baa Black Sheep TV series starrin' Robert Conrad circa... 1976? I was just 5!

With regard to the exhaust manifold layout; are there any tubes sharin' three or more exhausts?

Did ya happen to have glued the exhausts already? If not, would ya please take a piccie of 'em separated from the engine for me?

Tryin' to replicate 'em on an Otaki 1/48 kit.

Thanks, Jorge

Cheers,

Unc²

Of all the builds I've watched on this forum, yours is the finest piece of work yet. Your ability to paint and weather in an unbelievably realistic fashion is second to none in my opinion.

I agree with you; it is fantastic: so much realism ; it is really a piece of art. Congratulations. Polo.

Jorge,

My brother Peter has always spoken of your work as truly done on a professional standard, and from what you've posted here, he's being quite conservative in his appraisal. Your landing gear sub assemblies are excellent. I wouldn't add anything nor do any more weathering, as they look about as real as one can get. The engine accessory compartment looks more then busy enough even when one stares into its recesses. The weathering gives the impression of a well maintained but operational aircraft. I'm really looking forward to your next update.

Thanks guys, i am trying to represent a used Crosair but not that worn,Uncle sorry but the exhaust are already glued in place, one thing i can tell you, even if you model the cowling cooling doors open you wont be able to see much, jus a pile of pipes but you dont see where they come from, you have 6 exhaust in the corsair 3 on aech side one exhaust is fed by 3 cylinders and so on 18 cil divided by 6 pipes will give you 3
