Solar panels suck up all the energy from the sun

I wonder if they're amongst the same people who believe that the Charlie Brown Christmas Special was aired with 'Christian content' warnings... http://www.snopes.com/charlie-brown-christmas-christian-content-warnings/ Sometimes I wonder if those whackjobs might be right, and building a wall around America wouldn't be a bad idea... but then I remember that time when in Hungary a fundraiser was started (and raised a lot of money - into someone's pocket) to free the slave girl in a Mexican soap opera that was being shown there at the time, and I realise that it's not just America, but the whole -
From what I've heard from my dad and uncle, who both did their time in the Hungarian army during the early 70s, even if they did honour their treaty commitments they wouldn't have been a very valuable contribution - and by the 80s, as I understand things the "goulash Communism" came about by Hungary forgoing qualitative improvements to their armed forces, so they were equipped with rather outdated gear even in Warsaw Pact terms (apart from some domestically-made stuff like the FUG and the PSzH, which I'm told were better than the similar/equivalent stuff they got from the Soviets). Again, per

Alf, those both look super! :) -
Hockey sweaters. Like the ones in your photo there that God will send a million moths to eat. ;) That Newcastle Jets jersey is fantastic, though.

So I've started on my first entry... it took a while to get started because of my thumb injury (and unrelated RL troubles), and it's been a bit since I started working on it; I debated with myself for a while whether to post about it or not, because the loss of some dexterity in my right hand due to losing a third of my thumb has made it so that this build isn't even measuring up to my comparatively marginal standards. But I decided to go ahead and post, because I suppose as a co-mod I should post at least one thing, and also as a self-motivational thing, to encourage myself to keep building e

Looking good!

I'd take a good look at comparing those Almark decals to references before using them, just based on the RCAF decals I see there; those are pretty inaccurate.
-
Been waiting for your entry. Great choice, too!

Thuds are cool.

Now this is something I didn't expect! Can't wait to see how these turn out.

From the box art the tank looks like it has really badly chapped lips. :D

Wow, the resin makes an *immense* difference in the cockpit over the original parts!

Yeah, looking forward to seeing this!

Hasegawa 1/72 F-4B VF-151 Build Thread

Yay Phantoms! (I would say that, though...) -
This should be interesting indeed!

I just heard about this new thing they invented made of rubber...

Once my thumb has healed up enough that it doesn't hurt when I breathe on it (hopefully less than 2 weeks), I'll be in with: 1 - RF-4C of 12 TRS "Carolina Kangaroo" flown by Sqn Ldr A. R. Reed of the RAAF, and 2 - F-4D of 497 TFS in SEA with black undersides. If time permits, I'll also get a third one in, probably an F-4B of VMFA-542, or possibly even an RAAF Canberra. Well, I have two sets for VF-161 Phantoms, but both are post-Vietnam (one F-4S in lowviz, and one F-4S in high viz with the all-black spine). What were they flying then? Could the black-spine Sierra decals be adapted for

Hopefully we'll get our subforum soon so everyone can start posting build threads!
