  1. hasegawa hands down for the A6M2,M7,and M8 tamiya for the A6M3 and M5.
  2. yep, white and yellow use to be a major pain for me but all the tips posted in here will work for the yellow process as well. I use to use MM enamel gloss white and hate it. I think the type of paint you spray says a lot. I always had problems with MM gloss white and now use tamiya flat and gloss white along with their yellow paints with zero problems. I know mr.color makes an awesome flat/gloss white. it seems gloss white enamels are just a pain. I will say thought, I still use the MM gloss white but rarely.
  3. like some, I don't use my harbor freight unit that much and it only seemed to last about two years. it hasn't fully tapped out yet but it will just buzz and stop working. I was going to just get the same with the tank but i'm looking at other options now.
  4. I had the same problem with a wolfpack kit. decals and canopy mask were missing. i contacted spruebrothers and wolfpack has it sent out so fast with no questioned ask. Italeri is full of themselves.
  5. even if they got it right, I could snag the revellogram kit + aftermarket for the same price has the hase kit.
  6. good to know their still up N running. still waiting on their Etendard.
  7. I'm 100% legit and positive feedback on this forums. I ship with USPS with tracking. Please, US only!!! lets get on point now.... Hasegawa 1/48 F-18C -open box -nose,lower wings, side intakes, and one tail fin snipped from sprue -complete kit Looking for a straight trade for a Panda 1/35 Mrap M-ATV "Not looking for the kinetic kit, sorry." Please, PM if you would like photo's of the kit contents. thanks!
  8. black, white, or whatever....i don't really care about the color of the plastic.
  9. agreed! would love to see an EA-6A!!
  10. why complain at all? folks seem to know the deal with trumpeter and hobby boss. if you don't like their products then so be it. stop complaining over something you didn't purchase. I'm not a large fan of their aircraft line but I don't go around bashing them. seems childish to go around complaining because they don't fit your needs. yes, i admit I've done it once or twice but we get the point.
  11. yep, mike is doing the build with photo's on facebook. his page isn't locked. he isn't a crazy accuracy freak but did point out the nose profile being off along with intakes. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Two-Mikes-Resin-Accessories/292079953801?ref=br_tf
  12. why don't you just contact revell? they are pretty quick with parts exchange aren't they?
  13. using styrene or trying to heat the canopy wont work. not sure how it got so warped. i'll just get a replacement and hope it isn't so bad. the thing is, I built a hasegawa AV-8B with zero canopy problems.
  14. if your wondering whats in the box. going to wait for the charlie. http://store.spruebrothers.com/product_p/wpd10004.htm
  15. picked the kit up so I'm happy. can't beat the price. sold like hot cakes when LHS got their shipment. looks like alleycat already made a Vc wing for this kit.
  16. always getting off topic somehow.

  18. I didn't care about accuracy as much back when I started up again but once you start putting all this time into detailing it and painting it, why not have an accurate looking kit? I'm sure someone will make correct intakes.
  19. i have ran into some over sized canopies but nothing on this scale before. i'll try and post a pic to show you guys. i think the hot water will be the best trick at the moment.
  20. sorry for not clarifying that. the canopy is too wide. sanding won't doing anything.
