airforce_mike
Hi guys, I would like to show you my new small diorama - it shows a grounded MiG 25P in the grass... :D I was inspired by the pictures on this website I used the very old 1/144 scale LS kit (which is the only useful kit for a Foxbat in this scale) and add some extra detail made from paper, wire and plastic sheet. A front view... Left to rust... a pic to compare ... :D ...lost and forgotten Edited September 23, 2007 by airforce_mike
airforce_mike
...the air looks like a thunderstorm is coming Some extra detail, made from paper - the litte red antenna... The kit contains no engine outlets, only two flat closed discs, therefore - I have built the mighty burner cans from suitable ballpoint pen cases (tubes) and paper (green tin struggle). And please do not forget - it is small... :D ...very small! :D Some more detail...the blinded glass... Coming to the end with the faded red star... Okay, that´s all - hope you`ll like it... airforce_mike
Thanx a lot for all your positive feedback... :D Great job! :blink:Could you please explain how you did the yellowing effect under the canopy...? Well, I must admit at first I don´t know exactly what it is (on the originals)...a kind of sealer? ;) To get the look, I painted the windows just from the outside, using Humbrol lightbrown #63 first, then drybrushed with yellow. The small frame is painted carefully with Revell brown #85. While finishing I drybrushed the complete model including the canopy with light blue Humbrol #
