DJackson
I served in the USAF as a KC-135R and KC-135T Crewchief (1995-1999). My aircraft was 58-0069 a converted Q model (T - with the new engines). I was stationed at Altus AFB, OK. And at Fairchild AFB, WA. In 1999 I was commissioned by my squadron to paint noseart on 5 lead aircraft at Fairchild AFB. You can see my work here: KC-135R Nose Art by Dale Jackson I worked on both R and T models. The KC-135T could/can carry two types of fuel. We carried JP-8 for the tanker itself, and the JP-7 for SR-71 missions (when the SR was in service). Aircraft 0337 "City of Spokane", Art is now transferred over to 0092. Edited December 3, 2008 by DJackson
