Skull Leader
I agree... that primer coat just looks too darn clean and smooth to mess up with a coat of paint, lol. Definately a very clean and seamless build. The kit is challenging enough in itself to build, but this is one instance where the paint job will really keep you up at night, lol. At first I thought the instrument coamings were aftermarket, but closer examination of the overhead shot reveals the OOB tub. How did you simulate the fabric?
sv51macross
That's looking cleaner than a JDM showcar, looking sweet! One Q, 1:48 Hase cats come with the M-61? :D

Jonathan_Lotton
That's looking cleaner than a JDM showcar, looking sweet! One Q, 1:48 Hase cats come with the M-61? Its molded into the forward fuselage. If you dont want to display it, you cover it with its access panels. My god, thats such a seamless and perfect primer/build..its definately one of those builds where paint will haunt you and bring utter terror to your nights.

Oh yeah, if possible [pretty please with sugar on top] show your painting progress step-by-step cause I'm looking to do same thing to my big tamiya cat. My note pad is out and ready. TIA. Honza K.
some little progress on cat... I don´t have mutch free time for my hobby now... Some answers: IP covers are from tissue paper as you said, tomcatter727. Decals will be from Two Bobs. The Vulcan and all around him is scratch from injection needles, stirene profiles and desks. And to all, many thanx, I am really happy, then you like it. some little set up on flaps... Edited September 8, 2008 by Honza K.

Brian P: Fightertown Decals
Bummer to hear you won't be using our decals. One thing you might want to consider using 2B decals is that the light blue on the jet was actually 35190, not 36450. NSAWC switched over their paints when they re-painted the 20 Tomcat. The problem is, in scale 35190 looks really dark. So I would guess that's why most people use a mix for 36450. If you want, I'll send you a set of our new Topgun badges as Bob's aren't accurate for the timeframe of the sheet. -brian
Honza K.
Thanx boys. Brian, If I´ll want to use your decals, I must order then in foreign e-shops and it´s little complicated. Buy 2 bobs was easier for me. And before 2 years, when I bought this decals, Figtertown decals doesn´t exist I thing. But I will be happy, when you send me some mistakes in bob´s decal sheet. All colours I want to mix from Mr.Colors accordance with photos.
