What do you think has happened to the color of the tailwheel gear. I've seen main gear darkened by what I always assumed was possibly break dust but what about the dark color of the tailwheel gear? Exhaust staining?

Back in 2018 this set was long gone (so I thought) but I emailed the maker (David Newman <newmanispwest@yahoo.com>) and he sent me one for $43. Try him? It is a challenge.
