  1. Squadron's "Fw 190 In Action" Aero Detail #3 "Fw 190A" Kagero "Fw 190" Vol. 1-4
  2. I wasn't real clear on that, the A-6 introuduced a different style lower wing bulge with a spent casing chute for the MG 151. I believe the outboard upper bulge was introduced and standardized on the A-8.
  3. The outer bulges were needed to accomodate the outboard MG 151 as well so they were present all the time. On the F-8 it was common to delete the outboard cannons so you'll often see them without the bulges but they should be present on an A-8.
  4. Hmmmm.....Mr. 1/24 venturing into tiny town?! :)

Great work, very creative way to display your model as well!
  6. That's a gorgeous build, Kelly!
  7. Seriously, it couldn't be much worse. The air to air scenes were great, beyond that the movie was awful.
  8. Outstanding, weathering is simply superb!
  9. Great looking builds, Clif!

  11. It was a good show, the quality of the models across the board was just excellent.
  12. Neat project, Frank! I'm doing a 1/32 F-2 the hard way, 21st CT. Where did you get the PE landing geat strut bays? I scratch built mine but not real happy with results. Edit: I see you mentioned Eduard etch for the G, do you have the part number for that set?
  13. Very nice! One critique....not enough pics!
  14. Looks great, Erwin! That builds up into a nice looking Stuka.
  15. Came out great, Todd! Thanks for being a part of the GB!
  16. "Iron Maiden can't be fought, Iron Maiden can't be sought....Oh well, wherever, wherever you are, Iron Maiden's gonna get you, no matter how far." Great looking build!
  17. Looks like we'll have several members from TVMC attending. Hope to see some of you there!
  18. OK guys, that's it for this one. I apologize for my absence over the last several weeks. Work and some major changes in my personal life have not left me with a lot of spare time as of late. I'll be organizing the raffle in the next few days so check back next week for the results. Thanks to all who participated for a great GB., once again I'm amazed and humbled by the quality of stuff you guys produce. I'm stepping back from the GB thing for a while so if you want to keep the WW2 themed GB's going feel free to take the ball and run with it. I'll be happy to participate but I won't be mo
  19. Basically they want to be sure that you're a good risk. No criminal convictions, no illegal drug use, no subversive activities, etc. Most questions will be along these lines. They wouldn't make you a job offer unless they were confident that you could secure a clearance, it's too expensive a process to go through. You'd fill out a preliminary questionaire first to determine if you're a good candidate for the clearance before they initiate the investigation.
  20. Catching me when I'm not underway these days is becoming a challenge, just pulled into Manila yesterday. The light gray for the hull looks pretty good. The non-skid on the flight deck usually winds up looking like old asphalt after a few months of use so you if you can visualize that and come up with something close that should do it.
  21. Well you obviously seem to have all the answers. A good portion of what you say is just plain wrong, but I'm not in the mood to argue so I'll leave it at that.
