I like the ICM kits, because they require a keen eye and make me pay attention to the details. They tend to make good looking kits when complete, and are fun to build. If memory serves, if you build the Spit with closed cowl, just leave the valve covers off the engine. I'll be watching this build!

I would just like to add to the previous about ebay. I've been buying kits, resin, tools, books etc. off ebay for 10+ years now, and have never had a deal go bad. That said, I've been fortunate that I've been able to heed my Spidey-sense when it goes off, and have passed over a few deals that just didn't seem quite right. Back in '06, while deployed in Iraq, I even bought a motorcycle down in Missouri! My wife and a buddy went down, double-checked it (I had already paid), and brought it home. Still own it too! Hi Unc- See post #5 in this thread. The Barney version is this; Ozmods tanks = Academy copy. OzMods/Scaledown tanks - longer than the Mono/Revell tanks, and (seem) to have a better shape. FB-111. The A-10 tanks are the best/closest in size and shape for the 'Vark. I just got the OzMods resin tanks, and they are the exact same length as the Academy tanks, 19mm shorter than the A-10 tanks. So, ya got any tanks??
