  1. Well this is good news for sure. I had started my EC-121 many years ago and I think it finally went to plastic heaven, I got so frustrated with it. I had even started to do some work on the cowlings like adding in the exhaust stubs and fixing the prop spinner combo. Still have those pieces to remind me of the pain and not to do it again :) I have another unbuilt kit in the stash so I will have to get one of these sets when it gets released. Also, I seem to remember that there was a set of cowlings, spinners and props released many years ago by a Czech company but I don't think it is available
  2. Well that is a nice surprise. Looking forward to this. Lots of decals in my stash but mostly USAF or USN. Good to have some foreign operators. Looking forward to the profiles when they are us on the web site.
  3. So Kursad I was reading recently about the VC-1 markings. Seems that what the article said was that the yellow stars have a white surround. I found several pics but somehow I don't see that white surround. Any thoughts on that?
  4. Kursad It really isn't fair!!! You keep producing all of these wonderful decals for us lowly modellers while I am trying to cut back buying any model stuff :(/>. I have the Hasegawa kit but now I will get rid of it and pick up the Trumpeter one when I get some cash. In the mean time I will get your sheets so I don't lose out. Looking forward to your release and I hope it will have some colourful schemes which will not be too hard to do since I believe that the Sky Warrior was out of service when the TPS came into full use. I may be wrong though. Thanks again
  5. Count me as another who would like a HU-16B to do the Canadian aircraft. However having said that there are some striking schemes on the A version. And then Kursad is planning the JMSDF version and I am all over that. Not too crazy about the price as it stands now but maybe if I wait awhile it will come down. As for the 1/72nd version I would lay money on Hobby Boss coming out with one in 1/72nd using the Trumpeter data.
  6. Maybe I missed something but on Hobbyeasy site there is no Su-33 detail set by Windmark. I only see Su-35 and Su-37. Maybe I am not in the right place? Just wondering if I am doing something wrong. Thanks
  7. Outstanding Kursad I missed your first release but this one looks even better. It really is great that someone is willing to do these decals. Looking forward to its release.
  8. One of my favourite trainers and new Alpha Jet marking would be great for the new Kinetic kit. I can get rid of my ESCI kits now. Probably why they stayed in the stash gathering dust. Thanks for making these Kursad. I have to honestly say you are producing decals for aircraft that the main stream producers have forgotten. As you said, who would have thought a C-2 Greyhound decal would do so well :) And A-3 markings too. Now I guess I should pick up the 1/48 Trumpeter kit when it comes out as I can probably predict that the markings will be messed up. I always look forward to what Caracal M
  9. I'm pretty sure Black Box produced an MSIP update set many years ago. As far as I can remember it included new panels and some other detail items. I should check my set to refresh my memory.
  10. How about some Japanese marking for the William's C-46. Now that would be cool. I had a kit many years ago but sold it due to lack of marking that interested me. Now with some JASDF or even IAF markings......
  11. Raymond thanks so much for putting this in your future kits to release. I think it is a great subject. I saw these here in Canada many years ago when they were flown by the West German Luftwaffe and loved them. Looking forward to this release. Now I can get rid of my ESCI kits which I have at least two in my stash. Lots wrong with that kit and I can see it looks like you have the location of the leading edge of the wing correct with respect to the rear canopy. On the Esci kit that is VERY wrong.
  12. Great choices so far Kursad. Looking forward to it. As for suggestions, any chance for VA-35? This is the A-6A with the large white disk with a black panther. I think the trim is green from what I recall? I know Fujimi had these markings in their 1/50th A-6A kit many years ago. I have seen shots of the markings for both the Pacific (NL) and Atlantic (AJ) codes so you can do two for the price of one :)/>. Just asking.
  13. Hi Kursad, great news. You must love the Japanese markings because you always seem to have something along those lines in several of your releases. Not that I am complaining, far from it. I think it is great since there does not seem to be many decal producers releasing decals for that nation's aircraft. Love it, love it, love it. I had read somewhere that Trumpeter will be doing the B in a future release and I hope that comes true. However, having said that I hope I can find the kit at a better price that the $134.95 that I have seen listed for it. Still cheaper than the resin version I gu
  14. Here is the link to the announcement. Looks like May 2013 which is great. Although I don't build in 1/72nd I am happy for you guys that do. Supposedly this is the best Voodoo in that scale and way ahead of the Matchbox and Hasegawa offerings. http://www.plastik-modellbau.org/blog/revell-neuheiten-2013/2013/ Cheers Chris
  15. So Kursad, your first sheet changed from the JASDF subjects I see. No problem I guess I will have to buy both :). I like that you chose that VC-1 scheme since it is my favourite Skyhawk squadron. Never even knew that the VC-1 flew UH-34s. That orange scheme is also cool looking. Choices, choices.
  16. Why not get the set from Lone Star Models? More reasonably priced and looks great. I have it but honestly have not tried it for fit but from all accounts seems to be a really nice addition to the Monogram kit.
  17. Hi Justin Were you planning on bringing in the aircraft models in the Meng line? I see they have some really interesting Japanese kits. Even though they are in 1/72nd they look too good to pass up. Thanks
  18. Hi David This is just great news. I believe the only set we had available for the 1/32nd Hornet was Leading Edge Decals but I think that set is OOP. Also, speaking with others there were issues with the adhesion of the decals too but I cannot say for sure. I have the Academy kit and was planning on a CAF bird so your sheet will help along with your tails. Only problems is that I would not know what to do with all of the other schemes since I will only build one 1/32 kit.
  19. I have about 6 of the ESCI kits and currently working on one. Lots of work to bring it up to snuff I think. As you know all scribed but if you have a close look there are some problems. No sliding moulds back then so some of the panel lines are not clean. The two intakes on the rear fuselage below the vertical fin also need reshaping due to the way it was moulded. There is a resin cockpit available which improves that area but the rest of the kit really needs help. I think I will keep only two of my ESCI kits but buy the Kitty Hawk kit since it looks so much better. The two seater is a god se
  20. Probably won't happen since I recall reading that Zactoman like to keep to the 1/32nd scale area. Since there are no 1/32nd U-2 kits I would say don't expect anything from the Zactoman factory. Lots of stuff I would like in 1/48 such as items for the MiG-29s and Su-27s out there that need help but no such luck. Oh well.
  21. Ok found out that the Trumpeter Uh-34 kits are really the Gallery kits reboxed. Good move I guess. So I guess it is all down to cost. I already have the Revell kits from their first go round so maybe I should pick up the Italeri or Gallery kits as a nice comparison.
  22. Well that is good to know. I still have not picked up any of the NEW kits but I am leaning towards the Gallery kit. However from what I understand it may be a different version than the Italeri kit? Wow so much to learn.
  23. Not sure if these are someone else's moulds but I doubt it. I would suspect that they would be using the Hobby Boss kits as a guide since HB already has several in their catalogue. So we have Re-release Revell, Italeri, Gallery and now Trumpeter. After years of of not having any in our scale, who'd a thunk it? Not me. Oh my poor wallet :(
  24. Wow, you are the man Kursad. I should just send you all of my money and then things would be good :) Seriously, you are releasing such interesting subjects that there was only one or two sheets from your line up that I will not get. Good for you, bad for my wallet :) Did you also notice that Trumpeter is now jumping on the UH-34 bandwagon with at least two releases http://www.hlj.com/product/TRPMCT64101 http://www.hlj.com/product/TRPMCT64102 Also, Would you consider splitting up the sheet into foreign operators and the USAF/USN operators. Lots of very nice schemes on those foreign machin
  25. HI Kursad Ok I ordered some of your decals. I almost missed doing it since I have been so busy at work. I still missed out on a couple but it looks like SB still has stock. Thanks for having such a great line up.
