since 36280 is not easily available from modelling paint producers I suggest you to use Tamiya XF-19 Sky Gray + 10% of white.

the NACA for the right side was made by Cutting Edge several years ago, I should have one left somewhere, in the DACO set you may also find some useful pieces like early front tire and another panel if I remmeber it correctly.

Bought all 3 measures last August in Belgium. The larger one doesn't curve well and I'm not recommending it. Two smaller measures curves very well. Problem is glue is very, and I say very weak. Masked the camouflage on a kit in the morning and after 4 hours the tape fell away by itself. The more you stretch it with curves the more it will move away leaving you just a few minutes to spry. This is annoying since sometimes you need lot of time to mask a whole model. Solutions? Tape sticks better on flat base, but I like to work with glossy paints. Then you can try to block new Tamiya curving tape

not much to say about this one, I needed a quick and relaxing build and made a CF-104D from Hasegawa, gears are from SAC, pitot by Master, resin seats, dark metallic paints are by ACLAD II, light aluminium shades by Mr.Colour Supermetallics range.

Paolo Maglio replied to Exhausted's topic in General Discussion
That Friday I was in Brussels and took a train in the very same station as the terrorist. Luckly I went Northbound while he went South. I'm just want to say a big thanks to those brave men. -

QRA/Zulu Alert F-4Es with High Performance Centerline
Paolo Maglio replied to Scott R Wilson's topic in Jet Modeling
Can you please explain what's the meaning of Zulu near QRA? Thanks a lot. -
Mind it was mostry payed by USA via MAPD funds. As a fighter it was a dog and could not dogfight due to very long turning radio but as interceptor it was the faster of them all at the time. As Strike bomber it was also very stable and with four fuel tanks also had a goor radius. I think in the very early '60 it was a very good plane, problem was we had to keep it for too long time!

1/48 Draken - does anyone do these decals?
Paolo Maglio replied to Nightfighter's topic in Jet Modeling
You are right, I will be using squares from 3 Lansen boxes to have anought for Draken! Maybe you can try to ask for spares from modellers that choose to build their Lansens without yellow squares.... -
1/48 Draken - does anyone do these decals?
Paolo Maglio replied to Nightfighter's topic in Jet Modeling
Well, all you need are yellow squares. These are made by Fantasy print Shop/Euro Decals but I have tried them and they are no good at all since translucent. I also tried to put 2 squares one over onother and still I can see the camouflage. Some Swedish friends told me it is correct since also the original was not perfectly covering but still I don't like ihemt. My suggestion is to use squares from the Tarangus Lansen kit, that is what I will do next time!
