  1. give me a PM over on the Facebookins; I may be able to help you in that regard (Tony Edmundson), I'm part of the Canadair Sabre group over there. Cheers, Tony
  2. the Clear Prop vents are correct, it is up to the assembler to orientate them correctly. I have added vents to all my Hasegawa Canadair Sabre builds, it isn't hard , and, High Planes made a set of vents in 1/48(with a decal sheet). Tony
  3. I have both kits, and it looks like too much work versus result. What end config are you trying to achieve ?? Tony
  4. is the F-86F Sabre a Hasegawa or Academy kit. Fujimi never made a 1/48 Sabre AFAIK.
  5. The dual seat bay is smaller and much different. There are images on page 13 of the Verlinden Lock-On book on the ‘104
  6. plain old dark green, I use MM FS34095. Your photos have some sun bleaching of the green. i wouldn't sweat it too much Tony
  7. Take good look at the side windows on these windscreens, there is a definite difference in the angle of the front section, that is how to tell the different windscreens at a difficult photo orientation. Tony
  8. both of those photos clearly show the Vee shaped windscreen !! Tony
  9. Ben Hall's Sabre restoration had a Vee shaped windscreen all the time, and the aircraft still does to this day. One of your images is of a video game skin. Tony
  10. I already told Draw Decal about the wing mistake, he probably will do nowt about it Tony
  11. this book has a lot of pics of Ben Hall's restoration and tons of photos of when the aircraft was in the UK as G-SABR
  12. no, there is no news from Raymond since the Oct announcement of the latest delay in tooling startup. it is not a licence issue, it is a Kinetic economic issue Tony
  13. licencing is NOT the issue, how many times must this be said !!!!! Tony
  14. this is better off in the 'Bad Traders' column That is what it is for.
  15. Used the excellent Vingtor decals and some RedRoo drop tanks. Fashioned the 'sugar scoops' from heated plastic card and camera ports from plastic strip; Bare Metal Foil used on the thinned out slats with the step in the slat well eliminated. Afew niggles happened with the tank striping but I put it down to my own 'ham fistedness'
  16. Iroquois Models/Mastercasters won't be trading for a few more years as Jay Laverty was handed a 5 year sentence last year for sexual crimes against children. When they were trading the only reliable way to get the product was to order it from Hannants. There is no vacuum concerning material for the Arrow. Many good books have been published in the last years by such names as Peter Zuuring, Marc Andre Valiquette and Kestrel Publications ps That TV movie has all the accuracy of an episode of Full House
  17. Andrew at Above&Below has taken over many of Jim's sheet artwork and they are part of his line, now Tony
  18. you are better off starting your own thread/question, instead of burying it inside a thread on the F-86H but, my rabbit hole started with this; https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235011756-honduran-sabres/ Tony
  19. I think it depends on your intended livery, Canadian ones were YZC with black boxes, Belgian seem to be gray Tony
  20. yes, I would think the differences are 'major' :), and easily spotted between a F-86A and a F-86F but that's me Tony
  21. the biggest difference is the H-stab actuator fairings on the E,F, not present on the 'A'. There are a number of smaller differences such as the stabilizers themselves and locations of pitot tubes and wingtip nav lights (to name a couple ). Tony
  22. just an observation; but, your Sabre seems to have an uncharacteristic nose high stance--perhaps adjusting the height of the the nose leg is in order Tony
