  1. October 17-19 Staying in Glendevon at a cottage for a few days.
  2. Thanks man! BTW, I will be up near Edinburgh in October. Can't wait!!
  3. Just ordered mine from Sprue Brothers today. I should see it by Tuesday. I can't wait. I had no idea that this was on the radar.
  4. He is in AZ Fotios?? My email from him from two monthas back said he was heading to Pennsylvania! Can you have him contact me if you get a chance? I would like to meet up with him. Cheers Mike
  5. Send me some pics Utley. Maybe I can help you out. Cheers Mike
  6. I saw this set in person at the IPMS Nats in Omaha and can say that it is absolutely brilliant! Great stuff Doug!!
  7. My dad built a 15x24 shed for his workshop and even added a full on, sealed, stand up paint booth in it complete with a very good exhaust system. His is fully insulated and even has an attic with a set of pull down stairs in it to keep part of his stash in. It also sports two window style air conditioners and two ceiling fans. He bought the shed as a kit (not sure whose but I can ask) and added everything else to it. I would highly recommend adding windows to yours and a few electrical outlets if you do it. I know my dad added two or three heavy duty breakers to his electrical box on the house
  8. Hobby Lobby and Michaels are basically the same concept. They both cater to floral arrangements, crafts and framing with very little selection of models and accessories. The only redeeming part of Hobby Lobby is the occasional 40% off coupon you get there but the selection of kits is pretty dismal. I believe they are currently removing Tamiya kits as they were all 40% off on a clearance shelf recently at our local Hobby Lobbys. HTH Mike
  9. I know we have some PC gamers here and I frankly never have time for it anymore so I am offering up For Sale a like new (meaning I used it for maybe 4 hours) Saitek Control stick and throttle. It doesn't have the original box but I do have the install cd for it. I can take pics of it if you are interested. I will also throw in a copy of Falcon 4.0 if you are interested. I am 99% sure it is the Saitek X52. I am not at home to look at it but will verify later. Looking to get $65.00 for it. PM me if interested. Cheers Mike
  10. What a great selectionof photos gentlemen! Now can someone please school me on the seemingly endless versions of the Flanker? They have more changes than the F-16 and I thought that was hard to keep up with!!
  11. I think in some cases it doesnt actually "sell". I think some owners have friends drive up the price and if they are not outbid by a sucker, they just swallow the fee. I went through the same thing recently.
  12. Excellent shots of some uncommon hardware! Thank you for taking the time to post them. Ken, are/were you with Guy from Lindenhill? If so, tell hi hi for me.
  13. Awesome build and paint finishh. A very fitting tribute.
  14. Simple answer.......peoples sensitivity levels differ from individual to individual.
  15. Nice model. Love the scheme but have just one niggle. The airplane is very weathered but the gear bays look freshly painted. A pin wash would go a long way.
  16. I think you are right. I would guess that the original "P" series boxes have the multi part canopy only. Everything since has both.
  17. Fantastic work Froggy! Do me a favor and send me some pics and a little about yourself and your model to Twomikesresin@gmail.com and I will get them in my gallery on the website. I am doing a big update this weekend and would love to add it! Cheers mike

  19. It could be that I assumed they all had injected canopies as the kit on display did. I didnt go through any of the kit boxes.
  20. The ones they had at the nats had injected canopies . Just FYI
  21. 1/72 scale is always in the cards. One issue I have though is knowing what kit(s) to use as a baseline in many cases. Cheers Mike
  22. The MPM kit is ou and it retails at $57.00 USD. No cheaper than Bobs but you do get an injection canopy. One reason you have not seen many on the tables at the Nats or any other show may be the fact that it is a limited run kit. I can't think of a single limited run kit on the tables this year in 1/48 scale by any manufactuer come to think of it. I think many people also bought this kit as a collection item. I may be wrong.
