Berkut
I have a question, when you did faded look on camo, did you use pure white color? Or was it light grey? And color was very thinned out?

FrereLeO
Hello gentlemen, Thanks for your comments. I can't wait to see what you start next, as I'm sure we'll all welcome to see another project from your bench! Next build will be from the box with a PZL23 KARAS from WCM. Which one did you use?? I use an Hansa 381 for the painting and an Hansa 281 for the weathering. I have a question, when you did faded look on camo, did you use pure white color? Or was it light grey? And color was very thinned out? No, not pure white, directly. I always mix the basic color with white or yellow or ochre or light brown, depending of basic color. I use a much thinned mix. ~ 95% Before ending this build, some pics of the base. To represent the relief, I used pieces of pine bark :
FrereLeO
The whole is covered with air dry modeling clay DAS Pronto :
FrereLeO
The ingredients for the texture of the ground : cats litter, thin sand and white glue :
FrereLeO
First, a coat of glue is passed then the stone are put down and the sand is sprinkled :

Tiger 01
Amazing. Er, would you know the names of the colors that you used? We don't usually have Humbrol here in the Philippines, so i'm hoping that I can use Tamiya paints for a diorama project involving the desert too. Thanks, and congratulations on a magnificent build. Waco
Jeez...i just read all 21 pages of this. I'm officially chunking my Frogfoot under a truck now. Holy cow. Absolutely astonishing work.

Humbrol 147 : xf14 Humbrol 119 : xf52 Humbrol 250 : it doesn’t exist a Tamiya ref. It’s a desert pink. From Gunze, H346 Bye
