tdogg
Went back out this afternoon during a break in the rain....a short break at that lol. These aren't edited as I had to format my HD and haven't installed PS yet. A bit of a crosswind AC 767 coming in from LHR, these are running daily now, hoping to see some other Euro heavies soon. Winnie
Here's one of ME (C-FMTL Bell 212) that the site manager took! It is NOT photoshopped, just enhanced for clarity. It is taken around midnight on the 23rd of May, so obviously midninght sun. Completely unplanned, so pretty amazing that he managed to capture us in the moon. The Photog's name is Gary Babin, so he gets the credit! Cheers H.

Moose135
After a complete rain out on Saturday (the first full day rain out in 10 years of holding the show) the Jones Beach Air Show was once again in action. After the RCAF Hornet made its demo flight, he landed on an intersecting runway and then asked tower to taxi past the group of us photographers that were out on one of the parking ramps - completely out of his way, but he saw us with cameras, and wanted to give us an up close view of his jet. Say what you want, but those Canadians aren't half bad... :lol:/> Edited May 27, 2013 by Moose135

Moose135
Yes, once the show is done, and I get a bunch of stuff processed, I'll post a new show thread with everything together.
tdogg
Wow guys amazing!! Dylan I'd trade your same old for mine any day!!! Moose you 'Mercians aren't so bad yourselves lol. And winnie that shot of your chopper is wicked!! The 212 was the first chopper I ever flew in so they hold a special place in my heart!
Moose135
Last day of air show action around Republic Airport and the Airpower Museum. The two CF-18s departed for home, giving us a loud, full-burner interval takeoff from right in front of the museum. I think my ears are still ringing from that! Apparently, Santa Claus flew on the C-47 today!
tdogg
Finally some sun!!!! Mother nature had to put on a good show for the German tourists lol
Archangel
This past Saturday the 25th of May after my daughters graduation She spotted a plane in a parking lot on the back of a flatbed tractor trailer. I looked over to see what appeard to be a large Red Sea Fury and after checking online it was the Reno air Racer "Furias" parked in the lot of a motel in Council Bluffs Iowa minus the wings and engine from what I could see. I didn't have a camera so no picture and we were on our way home as it was. I guess you never know what you will see around here. Jinxter13
Thanx all; for all the superb pics. I like the Red Bull birds, if only they would leave the vintage warbirds in their original colors. There are plenty of birds they can paint in commercial guise for their product. It's a shame to discard history on a whim of sorts. Yet it's their property hence their decision.
