I suppose this is the ESCI Mirage, not the ESCI Kfir, which makes it an even greater achievement... BTW, doea anyone know what is the purpose of all the white tape on the leading edge? Sealing? Reference lines?

Cyrus Tan
Thanks for the kind comments fellas - I really appreciate it! I suppose this is the ESCI Mirage, not the ESCI Kfir, which makes it an even greater achievement...BTW, doea anyone know what is the purpose of all the white tape on the leading edge? Sealing? Reference lines? Bonehammer - Yes. It is the Italeri kit (repop) of the Mirage IIIE, to be exact. I don't know what those white markings are for, but they look nice on the model. You used the Eagle Design conversion? kurnass77 - Yes & no. Only the nose and 'dogtooth'. Everything else was scratch. :o

I wish I could post more, but the editor from the magazine asked that I only post one pic. That's one gorgeous looking Kfir! Congrats on a job well done! Thanks Qian. Glad you liked the kit.
