Aigore
Some more painting.... After looking over ref pics I noticed that there was two kinds of paintjobs. one where the border betewen the cammo scheme and the belly color was hard and one where the border was soft. I decided that the soft borders were older paintjobs and the hard borders were new ones. Since I`m doing another war bird I decided to go with soft borders. SO I set out to mask with tac it and tape. And then I shot hum 28 All over There ya go :D Tomorrow I´ll start with the detail painting, the nose cone and the metal surfaces at the rear and such :D Cheers! Diego
She's a beauty... :D :D BTW- when applying the markings on the wing undersides please note that the "Allah" marking (decal N° 5) and the roundels (decals N° 1+2) are not placed symmetrically ! Decals N° 57 should also be used on this bird. Greetings Diego Edited January 21, 2011 by Diego

Aigore
There, the detail painting done! I started with masking the areas to be painted... At the rear I first reprimed with alcladII microfiller and then preshaded very softely with black and then I shot AlcladII exhaust and some Alclad II white Aluminium. Flat black at the nose, I really wanted a semi gloss paint there but I only had flat black in my stash but that´s nothing a few clear coats won´t cure And finally some AlcladII white aluminu in the nose wheel well. A little overview... Now I´ve started putting together the ordinance and finishing some small details like antennae and such... Cheers!

SrkiRad
Looking very good Aigore, but it seems that in front of brown pattern on left intake there is some kind of brown overspray over yellow pattern... or it's just an optical illusion? Put this detail aside, everything looks great - metal parts of exhaust are very reallistic.... Regards, Srdjan
Aigore
Thanx Srdjan I think that´s an lighting effect...I can´t see any overspray on the kit. I´ve made some bleeching effects here and there tho...
