Specifically it's the 8212, the 8222 is boxier, has the sort of dual pointed nose panel, and seems to be more common.

They are, with a wedge trimmed off the base of the trailing edge, and base of the leading edge extended a little to match the profile of the fairings.

With work travel, I'm home only about half of the time. Unfortunately that means I barely get the chance to do any printing myself, averging turning the printer on about once a month. At this point its mostly test prints to check scaling and fit, things like that. There is no way that I would be able to print in any sort of production capacity, I'm sorry. As a comprimise, that's why I decided to start uploading my CAD files to Cults3D. That way they're out there for other modelers. If someone wants to buy a licence from me for comercial production and sale, get in touch

BAM has the 1/48 folks covered with resin conversions, but 1/72 has less options. As I want to build the STOL/MTD guise of this aircraft I've worked on modelling the parts in CAD to print and use myself. I've gotten everything forward of the wings done (The "easy" part) and have uploaded them for anyone else that wants to buy a license and print the parts themselves. I will eventually get the 2D vectoring nozzles done as well, but haven't gotten that far yet. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/1-72-nf-15b-nasa-eagle-canard-fins-stol-mtd-ifcs-active Cheers, Hoops

Maestro Models from Sweden also had an old school cast resin set of the same available years ago, if you ever stumble across one. Hoops

The Fightertown Decals instruction sheet for the same aircraft in 1/48 scale specifically states that "Go Navy" and "Beat Army" markings did not appear at the same time as the mission markings. Instead that the mission markings only started appearing in April of '03, well after the Army Navy game markings had been removed. With regards to USN subjects, I trust the research of Fightertown more than Twobobs. Cheers, Hoops

Good Morning, I'm looking for the kit decal sheet from this kit: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/hasegawa-00543-f-15c-eagle-us-air-force--1226689 I've got a Hasegawa F-15J kit in the stash already, but want to build the Iceland based US squadron depicted on the sheet. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody had it in the spares box, thanks for looking! Cheers, Hoops

I just sent you an email, Cheers, Hoops

If you want to really nerd out about it, the difference is associated with the Autopilot system. The three static ports ware associated with the older PB-20 Autopilot that was installed on early P-3s and the EP-3s. The four static ports were associated with the ASW-31 Autopilot, installed on the later P-3Cs. Cheers, Hoops

Where to find Hase 1/72 F-117 with bomb bay?
Hoops replied to Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy's topic in Jet Modeling
CMK also did a "Armament Set" #7107 that the bomb bay in resin. I think it was intended for the Academy kit, but probably would work without too much difficulty on a Hasegawa kit as well. Looking at the instructions on 1999.co.jp the following boxings from the last 20 years have the bomb bay: Farewell (with the flag on the bottom) 02011 Special Marking (with the Skunkworks cartoon skunk on the bottom) 00747 Desert Storm 02256 -
He hasn't logged in to the ARC forums since 2019...

With the release of the ICM OV-10D kit in 1/72 I'd like to tackle this conversion. I know that Heyjoe hasn't logged into these forums in about 5 years, but I'll ask the question and maybe somebody else knows the answer: What are the dimensions of the Mongoose pod? There isn't much that comes up in internet searches, or for ALE-56 which is apparently the correct designation. Thanks for the info, Hoops

Happy new year! I'm looking for the Progress pod (big fairing on the bottom of the fuselage, parts C10/C11) and V'yuga (Cylindrical Shoulder pod, parts C20/C21) from the Zvezda MiG-27 or it's Italeri rebox. The plan is to clean them up and add them to Art Model Mig-27K, I'd imagine that somebody might have these parts in their spares box. Thank you for looking! Cheers, Hoops
