  1. i wasnt suggesting they were crooks. They said they'd only take payment when they were ready to ship.
  2. I'd like to know too too as have had a Pucara on order for an age!
  3. I have been trying to find this set for ages also. If there are enough of us maybe whoever has the moulds could produce a few to buy??
  4. May the Lord mske it so! AEW Gannet is my all time fave.
  5. Like it! I wish there was a 1/48 kit of the Super Galeb!
  6. I find the various versions of the F-7 very confusing. Is it possible to build Zimbabwean and Namibian birds from the Trumpy kit? I had always thought they had the very different wings and canopy of the j-7e? Can a j-7e be built from the trumpy kit?
  7. Not a conspiracy theory at all. The Cheetah Es were rebuilt IIIEs. The Cheetah Cs were rebuilt Kfirs from surplus IDF stocks. Check out Winston Brent's definitive book on the Cheetah. Cheetah book link
  8. Not from this tooling itself,. About the only thing you can sensibly try to make from a Kfir is a South African Cheetah E (and you'd need to do surgery to the fin, exhaust and nose). The wings, canards, fin, exhaust and nose would need too much fixing to convert a Kfir into a IIIE/5 or a Nesher/Dagger. Better to wait for Avantgarde or Kinetic to do the heavy lifting. Once we have a decent IIIE the options cross kitting wirh the Kfir become quite interesting - Swiss IIIS with canards, Cheetah, Nesher, Finger, Pantera etc. Hours of fun!
  9. What a wonderful aircraft. Looks like a diesel punk fantasy plane. Love it. And great skill being shown - am in awe.
  10. Reality is that if you want a Lansen the Tarangus kit is likely to be your only option for at least the next 5 years. Cant see anyone else kitting it. Viggen may get done by someone else as it has more widespread appeal. Am surprised Hasegawa didnt follow up on the Draken.
  11. Israeli intelligence have managed to get hold of pictures of the engine:
  12. So who is going to be first to kit it?? I can see endless debates among the rivet counters as to whether Trumpeter have got the wing thickness right. Probably have to wait for Eduard etch to do that cockpit justice... Seriously, that is the funniest thing i have seen in a long time.
  13. And the cockpit looks very like that of the An70....
  14. The Airfix kit is your oly option in 48. The most accurate kit in any scale is probably the 72 scale CMR kit. (But it is in resin and very expensive)
  15. Nice >Any chance of you guys doing a G4 Super Galeb in 1/48??
  16. What Sea Harrier pilots did when they had a Mirage on their tale was engage the Harrier's vectored thrust. It was called VIFFing (vectored thrust in forward flight). It caused the Harrier to decelerate very quickly and cause the Mirage to shoot past allowing the Harrier driver to get on its tale. It could also be used to achieve a muich tighter turn. Of course the Harrier's vectoring nozzles were not designed for this purpose - it was a happy coincidence.
