  1. I use an Iwata HP-C Plus, very very nice and not really found a need for anything else, even when doing very very fine lines. http://www.iwata-medea.com/products/iwata-airbrushes/high-performance-plus/hp-c-plus/ Either way you'd want a dual action I'd say. Once you've learned to use the easier to use single action airbrush you'd wish you had a dual action. And using a dual action really isn't that hard to learn at all.
  2. Bought paint chips for color reference off him. Prompt shipping, good communication, excellent deal!
  3. Google gave this: http://www.airvectors.net/avtu16_1.html Seems The K is missle only
  4. I would not say regardless of the timeframe, but it is a pretty safe bet looking at mid-39 onwards. If you look at say the pre war He111 A to E I wouldn't be so sure, but P and onwards I'd probably paint it all RLM66. The Norwegian Ju88A-1 pulled out of the lake was all RLM66 interior for example, and that first flew in January 1940, while the http://www.swannysmodels.com/Painting.html outlines Ju88 to have RLM02 throughout the whole A and B series. So I'd toss all of that out the window.
  5. I second the Perfect Plastic Putty, I use that and Mr Surfacer pretty much exclusively. The thing is that Mr Surfacer works as described above by happy1, but so does Perfect Plastic Putty to a large degree, but with water instead. You can get very clean filling of larger gaps with that, and it's quick drying. Mr Surfacer is more self-leveling though and very good for the finer things. If it's larger gaps or "body work" I use a swedish putty called Plastic Padding "Finspackel". I assume it is similar to Aves or Bondo, multipurpose but very fine two component putty for car body repair and whate
  6. Closed windows if it's accurate to the ESB AT-ST, but it seems they are indeed going RotJ with open eyes http://www.gunjap.net/site/?p=229052 Still not sold on their stuff tbh, trenchlike panel lines and toyish features. As long as they get these "must haves" out of their way and make more interesting subjects I'm fine with that though, like that R5-D4!
  7. I'm in either way but would a dedicated floatplane like the Hansa-Brandenburg W.12 or a Catalina be okay? Or is it only ski or float modifications?
  8. I'm interested in buying a set of those chips if you find any, it says your PM inbox is full :)
  9. Not the same scale but I reckon it would be usable for this as well seeing as they're scaled down: Does anyone know of any kind of fix list for any of the Trumpeter 1/32 Mig-21s?
  10. A correct detailed cockpit for the Trumpy 1/32 A-6A with the seats properly offset, not to mention correct GRU-5 seats to begin with, would be INCREDIBLY sexy
  11. This seems to be an error within the Flash file itself or the scripts launching it, nothing on your end. "Is there a way that I can have the Flash player run automatically without having to right-click and choose it? I went into the flash player settings and did not see anything for this. I also went into About:config but did not find anything either." Your Flash Player is already running and "playing" the file if you will, the issue is with the implementation on the website as that is what dictates playback behavior. It's either not set up correctly or it is expecting arguments fed from the
  12. I had some stainless steel tubing, I ended up buying a sharp paint remover made of Tungsten Carbide, something like the blade used in these http://www.homedepot.com/p/Hyde-2-in-Wide-2-Scraping-Edges-Scraper-Blade-Tungsten-Carbide-10620/100145658 Was able to cut through the tube like I usually would with a razor edge since the tungsten carbide is harder than the stainless steel.
  13. I will be a late joiner after my Star Wars gb things are done. I have collected most things I need I think, and will be building the 1/32 Hasegawa Fi 156C Storch with skis. I will convert it into the medevac D model, requiring modification to the clear parts, fuselage and interior, but hopefully still pretty easy due to the nature of the Storch simplicity.
  14. Thanks guys :) Main color will be Tamiya TS-32 Haze Gray as outlined in this excellent post, comparing directly with the paint off an original hatch. http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=91735&page=2&p=1304457&viewfull=1#post1304457 I would advice againt using TS-32 on anything smaller than the studio scales though, as it already looks considerably darker than what is on the screen in most lightings. Currently the cockpit tub and the whole interior is bathed in Vallejo German Panzer Grey primer, not decided on what to use for the actual color yet. I do think it looks too da
  15. I am not sure having a not-working default page should be considered a feature The redirect is javascript called by the html generated by the php, which has been tampered with by the php injection, so blocking scrips globally will stop that. Implying this is not a problem is like going "oh I have tapeworms, but it helps me slim my figure, right?"
  16. I am sorry but url4short is the url you end up at, not the virus nor the problem. This forum is running Invision Power Board and it infected as outlined in the OP
  17. Here is another very good one on the studio scale ones http://www.therpf.com/f10/history-salzo-captain-cardboard-x-wings-74743/ Come join us on the Star Wars group build
  18. I would suspect shill bidding at work here, absolutely no reason to not snipe it with a very high auto bid in the end, just raising the price for no reason at the moment with 6 days to go
  19. With the way this works, Zactoman will now be required to reissue his set after that poor bloke has bought it for that much! For the record I would personally buy at least one set
  20. It has nothing to do with your IP (hence router at home or on the go does not matter), it has to do with the way (url/address) you use when accessing ARC. Using a bookmark like I normally would completely sidesteps the redirect, I only noticed because I am visiting my parents and browse on a Windows Surface tablet. It also only seem to display once, using cookies to make sure you only see it once, which I guess is for hiding purposes. So if you clear cookies it seems you get it right away, at least that is how I get it to redirect again on this device after having seen it once. Can also be jav
  21. I only get it when there is no cookie set for the forums. I would think (assuming the forums are patched as they should be) that this injection has been here for close to a year. Having googled around it seems to always hide in the cached skin_global.php and piggyback on that being decoded to be hard to find once people go looking for it. It seems to only do this redriect and nothing else but the damage done in reduced visitors from google alone, and over so long time, makes it really really nasty in addition to all the other implications... It is why I use disposable passwords for forums espe
  22. Not sure where else to post this, but here we go. www.arcforums.com drops me off at a blank page, so I googled for arc forums, giving me http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?act=idx Clicking on that drops me off at a url4short redirection. Going back and using the google link again takes me here as it should. I have tried this on several of my devices and they all show this behaviour like clockwork. Your servers are or have been compromised. Googling the url4short gave me lots of people trying to resolve this assuming it is their machines that are infected, but I found this very u
  23. As long as Trumpy release it as a 1/32 after a while so I can dump a shedload of Zacto resin on it
