Hello!!! I am proudly presenting you my first finished model in 1/48 scale. This model represents a Hellenic Airforce F 16D Block52M fighter and most particular the a/c with s/n 023, carrying the scheme from NATO Tiger Meet 2018 exercise (Poznań, Poland). The scheme was applied on CFTs and on the drop tanks and it's colour was inspired by white tiger of Bengal. It took me 4 months to complete the build (Jan 21 - Apr 21). The base of the model is Kinetic's 48076 kit. Also resin parts from Aires (pitot, seats and nozzle) as well as from Eduard (Wheels) were used.

Good evening everyone...an home version of a Hornet Hangar, RCAF Style with a visitor from the Navy. Enjoy...I sure did. So..my next project...who knows depends on what I feel like when I stand over the small collection of kits.

Hello guys, Here is my last completed build and the first of 2022. This is the Italeri reboxing of the Kinetic kit. It's a plane from the french AF Escadron 3/3 Ardennes during Operation Musketeer (Suez canal crisis, 1956), based in Akrotiri, Cyprus. The ID stripes are not the usual Yellow/black but rather midstone and white/black. The number of allied aircraft on base (over 200) led to a lack of yellow paint and use of replacement hues. As usual your comments and inputs are most welcome. Stef (#6)

Hellow fellow models!!! My name is Thanos, I am a mechanics student from Athens, Greece. One of my passions are airplanes. I spend the most of my day in home, due to the corona virus outbreak. So, I started scrolling in YouTube and I found lots of aircraft modeling videos. I didn’t waste any time and I bought my first kits, (2 Eduard Spitfires (1/72) and a Kinetic F 16 Block 52+ HAF (1/48), which are actually my favorite aircrafts), paints and an H&S Ultra 2 in 1 airbrush. I had almost no experience in scale modeling (only a Revell A320 and a Revell Leopard 2A6, almost 5 years ago)

Hello Everyone, 8th October is celebrated as Indian Air Force Day. 2020 was the 88th Air Force Day for the IAF. I present the Mirage 2000 to commemorate this day. The Mirage 2000 was upgraded by the Indian Air Force and was re designated as Mirage 2000I. The kit is from Kinetic in 1/48 scale and is built Out Of the Box. The build is simple but Kinetic hasn't mentioned much in the instructions about which parts to use for the different variants which can be modeled from one kit. So you will need to refer your references for the particular version you will be building. The

Howdy. Gonna try doing a in progress post for this build. Recently moved back to 1/48 (from 1/32) Jets - traded most of the 1/32 away for 1/48 but this particular kit has been in the back of my stash for years - pretty sure I got it right when released maybe around 2012? Anyway I have a ton of aftermarket for it: Dmold intakes Wolfpack seats and wheel wells Profimodeler pitot Master refueling probe Hypersonic exhausts Eduard various sets and wheels GFactor brass gear (for the Revell kit but it looks maybe more detailed than the Kinetic plas

Hi all! Back again with my latest completed project, the Kinetic Su-33 Sea Flanker. This is a model I have wanted to build for quite some time, and a quarterly contest with my local IPMS club (John Glenn, Cleveland) gave me the excuse I needed to start this one. The contest theme was "I've Got the Blues", which was to build something that was predominantly blue. I am happy to say this model won first place! By now I am sure you have heard much about this kit. It is complex. The detail is fantastic. Accuracy is pretty good. The instructions are, well, really bad.

Hi Folks This is my recently completed 1/48 Kinetic Hornet. It represents A21-7 as she was circa 2006 with 77 Squadron and finally gave me a chance to use my Afterburner Decals Hornet sheet. AIM-132 ASRAAM from Airfix spares, Litening Pod from Tamiya spares and scratch modified TACTS pod. Eduard etch set in the cockpit abd some epoxy putty intake FOD bungs. Hello, I recently purchased the Kinetic 1/48 Blue Angels F/A-18 A/B/C/D kit for my son as a Christmas present, ordered from Lucky Models. It looks like a great kit, but unfortunately the kit came with a cracked windshield. I have tried emailing lucky models and kinetic, but so far no response. Does anyone have a lead on how I can get a hold of someone for a replacement windshield? Cheers! -Ramon

Dear ARCers, It has been a while since I announce new item here in ARC. It has been a busy year after factory removal as well as new tooling process. The brand new M346 is going to be released in August/Sept time. The new M346 use all the new tooling standard, the surface detail is using the latest 0.12mm high speed CNC / 5-Axis to take care special shape of the m346. Also, we use the similar approach of our F/A-18 design with top/bottom part (with complex slide mold) to deliver the simplest way to assemble the model. The kit also include canopy with and w

I recently received the latest Kinetic F-16 kit from Lucky Models, #48069 "Turkish Air Force F-16C" Included is a well printed decal sheet designed by CrossDelta and printed by Cartograf with four decal options. Two of the options are for two(?) Block 50 jets that attended Anatolian Eagle exercises in 2015, those markings include tail numbers 93-0672 & -0673. The two colorful options, a red and a blue tail version each depicting a "Falcon Instructor", do not denote a tail or serial number, and the instructions identify them only as "Block 40 with 143 Sqn" and decorated to ce

Hi, as the title suggests I am looking for a 1 48 Kinetic Sea Harrier FRS.1 (kit number 48035), for a conversion. I am also looking for the Cutting Edge 1 48 AC-47D conversion set (kit number CEC48040). I realize that the latter is a long-shot, but if you don't ask, you'll never know! PM me here if you can help! HI, I'm looking pylons for my F/A-18 Hornet A/C with the Kinetic kit. For AIM-7M Sparrow: I find reference on Reid Air & Daco books with LAU-115 launcher. For AIM-9L/M Sidewinder, it used the same LAU-115 launcher with 2 LAU-127 rails. Here with AIM-120 and AIM-9 on Canadian Hornet. Does LAU-115 launcher exist in 1/48 ? Thanks for your help SPang

What a kit by Kinetic. Usually over engineered and far too complicated this kit is sublime. With superb detail at every level and great decal options you cannot go wrong! The only let down with this kit are the instructions. They are poorly printed and leave you guessing on some stages! This is an out of the box build with the only addition being the eduard cockpit set. The paints are Hakata blue line Russian ST set and Vallejo and MIG metal paints. The base is Coastal kits display bases Admiral Kustinovof's deck..

Greetings, I built a Hasegawa Hornet several years ago and remember it being a fun build that went together with few problems. I had a Hobbyboss A model, another Hasegawa D model and the new Kinetic C model in the stash so I decided to get them all done. I had the Afterburner decals for VFA-87 War Party that I used on the 1st Hasegawa and there were plenty left over so I used them on the Hobbyboss Kit to build an A+. I am not up to date on my Hornet specifics so I relied on the Hobbyboss instructions for the build. Obviously that was a mistake. There were some antennas that got put

Another one for my cold war RAF/RN Collection. I remember the Falklands war as a kid in school, and was always fascinated by the "Jump Jets" on the TV. So I was pretty happy when Kinetic released a Sea Harrier, noting that the only other options in 48 were the horrible Airfix and Tamiya kits. I'm also looking forward to Kinetics Harrier Gr.3. I've chosen to do XZ457 - "14" of No 800 Naval Air Squadron onboard HMS Hermes in the South Atlantic in 1982. XZ457 was the highest scoring Sea Harrier with 2 IAI Daggers and 1 A-4Q Skyhawk. accredited to her. As I've
