janman
Nice shots indeed! Love the one with snow! I'm glad you're posting these fine photos. You or Julien happen to have more shots of the VF-11 CAG bird (BuNo 157308) of which one photo was posted on this thread (page 36)? I'm building a model of it with old Microscale markings. Another thing I'd like to know would be the names of the pilots who flew this thing around 1976 since no names are provided with the decals eventhough they clearly are present on the canopies. Here's what I have from the Paul Minert collection. I checked the full res versions to see if i could make out any of the names on the canopy and no joy. The copies I have are just not high enough resolution. Truly appreciated! I'll have a look in my collection to see if I can read the names. Thank you! On the other hand, as far as I can see, on the first photo taken earlier the names aren't there (yet?). Sig Saur & Son
In reference to F-4J 157308, in July 1976, the names were CDR DEAN CRAMER and LCDR SMOKEY STAGE. By September 1976, the names were gone. Hope this helps. Cheers, Dave Edited January 25, 2010 by Sig Saur & Son

Kalashnikov-47
Found this in my collection. Was given to me by the public affairs office at Ramstein, so it's most likely an oficial USAF photo.
bradebaugh
this a/c was shotdown over Vietnam and the pilot (John Cerak) and WSO (David Dingee) spent about 6 months as POWs. Non slatted wing. Tail markings ZF in white, with standard numbering of AF, 67, larger 243. a/c was out of the 308 TFS from Homestead and carried the standard TAC emblem on tail and unit and wing badge on the intakes (Emerald Knights emblem on the left one). a/c name "MoM" w/arrow thru heart on right side only. The photo was given to me by Retired Col. David B. Dingee. His son was an F-15 driver in Desert Storm and got a helicopter kill. His son's a/c is the Lou Drendel litho on the back cover of the Squadron Pubs Walkaround of the F-15. Edited January 29, 2010 by bradebaugh
