Iranian F-14A
How about a CH-53 as an oil rigg bird or a playboy RV with a bunny bar ? Gary A commercial S-65 would be nice. Maybe a British Airways bird to support the North Sea oil rigs and maybe a JAL version for high capacity inter city travel. Along the same lines,I've done a Boeing 234 Chinook up in old school Northwest Airlines colors and it looks really good. Also thinking of doing a USCG S-65. A natural replacement for the HH-3F. ross blackford
:D, My what if would be additions to the Australian Army helicopter fleet; Mil-24 Hinds and late model Mi-17 Hips in the usual Aussie Army camo schemes of sand, green and black and the two greens and black scheme used on some of the RAAF Caribous before they were retired. The Army hired some ex USMC MH-53s whilst waiting for their heavy lift Mil-26 Halos. Halos were also purchased for the National Emergency Services for moving personnel around the country and some fire fighting Halos were also purchased. All this is in addition to the present purchases and the helos already in service. , Ross.

It is rather simple but it represents what I believe should have replaced the Air Force's MH-53. I think a 72,000 pound Pave would have been awsome....... Bob
Sarathi S.
If I remember correctly, the "Pave Low" in the game Modern Warfare 2 was actually a CH-53E with the Pave Low nose on it. Very odd.
ChernayaAkula
Something new! Although it's kinda sci-fi, I think it fits in the helo thread: The Jigabachi AV from Ghost in the Shell in various whif guises. The lineart is a traced scan of the instruction sheet in Kotobukiya's 1/72 kit. Also my first try using Gimp to do the slanted roundels. No further squadron emblems, serials or the like, though, as the roundels sucked up all the adventurism trying out new software.
ross blackford
:D, My helicopter whiff would be a Mil-24S Salon in RAAF VIP SQN colours. This would of course be a special for getting VIPs both military and civil into tight places in cities where ground transport might one day be a problem. These choppers would be escorted in high risk situations by normal Army Hinds in full camo colour schemes. , Ross. Edited June 18, 2011 by ross blackford
