FlyARGuard
I had the chance to deliver a C-130E to the boneyard today. The aircraft was 63-7800. We no more than shut the engines down and the people there started taking it apart. It was really interesting to say the least. While waiting on the airplane that was to take us back to Little Rock, we were given a tour of the boneyard. It was not the Pima Museum celebrity row tour, it was a tour in a van. The driver just asked us where we wanted to go! I figured you guys would want to see a few pictures. I will add some more for you later. If you have any special requests, I will see if I can help. I took about 300 pics which is not like me at all but I could not help it. It was too damn neat. I will start with a pic of the airplane at LR and once we landed at DM. The rest you can figure out. richter111
I find it interesting that there are so many vietnam birds there, just seems odd that they would keep them around, you would have thought they would be scrap by now
FlyARGuard
This is a pic of us on final approach into DM. Taken from my view out of a paratroop door. The last landing of a 47 year old airplane!
