  1. This. I've also noticed that some of their newer stuff isn't as sharply detailed as their older sets. That and the whole Russian thing tends to make me look for alternatives.
  2. x2, that page is pretty nice. Lots of pics, most of which I've never seen before. Even found a pic of a Seaspray (or whatever they were called at the time) MD500 hidden away in the hanger of a DDG.
  3. Interesting, so I take it that "thing" is an IR suppression system? Always wondered why they made no attempt to shield the open exhausts once MANPADS became a thing.
  4. This is some really, really nice work. Maybe I missed it but what are you using for decals?
  5. Interesting. Any pics out there of Prime Chance helos with those Stingers?
  6. That's some crazy level of detail for 48th scale. Nice work.
  7. Interesting subject, still have a pipe dream to find a Fisher A-1E conversion and do this aircraft in 32nd scale. I recall reading somewhere that USAF A-1E's often didn't even have seats in the aft crew compartment.
  8. I'm building a 20th TASS OV-10A, circa late 1972. I recall reading somewhere that radar warning receivers began to be fitted on AF Broncos towards the end of the (US portion at least) war due to SA-2's starting to be moved south. Any idea if my subject would have had RWR's fitted? Not finding any decent pictures of Broncos in this time frame. Any chance that flare dispensers or IR shields on the exhausts would have been added, since SA-7's were also starting to become very common in theater by then. Any info is much appreciated.
  9. That's funny, I thought he was moving out to Vegas (at the request of his wife, it sounded like). Glad he's well, he's a good guy.
  10. I live a few towns away from Harry's Hobbies, never knew they existed. I'll be over that way tomorrow, will try to check them out. Centerline in Hyannis is really nice and Hobby Emporium in Nashua is outstanding. Also sad about Spare Time Hobbies, the place was amazing. I talked to the owner before they closed, he went out on his terms. Business was great but his wife wanted him to stop working 70 hr weeks, move somewhere warmer and start enjoying life.
  11. Sorry for not being clearer guys, yes, I'm looking for Vietnam era pics. Didn't even know the 20th made it to Europe after shutting down in Vietnam. Thanks for the info provided so far!
  12. Loved them. Zero complaints. I know you don't go heavy into 32nd so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out you had a set.
