RT Van Zandt II Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 F-4E Phantom II 'SPUNKY VI' 388TH TFW Early E configuration, with HARD Wing and short gun muzzle, replaced kit wing with one from F-4J kit. Removed bulge on top of wing over landing gear strut, Resin Black box Cockpit, Aires Resin Exhaust nozzles. Kit completely rescribed and drilled, addtional rivet detail added, canopy detailed, pylons detailed , tailplanes detailed and removed triangular reinforcement plates on tailplane, ailerons cut out and dropped, Pitot tubes replaced with Metal tubing, Beacon replaced with clear red acrylic.
