AMK will release a MiG-31!

Recommended Posts

Do you perhaps know if vertical side wall cockpit parts are included? Currently there's this empty space between the cockpit tub and the fuselage so I hope there's more to come.

I don't think Sio will mind if i reveal this super secret; but yes, there are detailed side walls too. Don't worry, the cockpit detailing is astounding, believe me. :)

Thank you for the support guys. We have set the price with you all in mind.

Love the kit and am positively shocked by the price, but would prefer a Cold War variant. Do you perhaps know when would those other boxings follow and if the same pricing would remain?

I don't suppose the BM boxing might contain the older variant specific parts (e.g. the big fixed wing pylons and the R-60M and R-40TD missiles)? Just asking because if so, I might go with the BM boxing to be on the safe side plus get some aftermarket decals from Begemot. Sorry if this has been answered before, I keep forgetting things already answered (sorry Berkut).

Thanks. Expected so given the amount of detail throughout, but needed a confirmation and these final cockpit part shots are not showing up update after update :)

There's the decal sheet shown on BM: http://www.britmodel...-148/?p=2132126

There are little stencils. It's because they are to be provided on another sheet ? Because of further boxings ?

In fact there is none, on that sheet... :)

Thank You Sio. I know you are professionals at that! And I'm very grateful. As a suggestion, maybe a MiG-31M in the future?

MiG-31M was never operational and it being so different would require a completely new tool. I would leave it up to Trumpeter here.

Hi, Guys,

To all of you, I have to say I am very happy, as it looks like you guys like our works.

You guy's satisfaction is the best return of our works and .................investment.

As I saw Raymond is watching here, and he was calling me today asking about the pricing of our MIG-31 and telling me the quality of their plastic of Super Etendard.

So guys, if I say, we will continue our Super Etendard project, what do you guys think? and Raymond you? :D :D

I would like to have some responses!

Cheers!

Sio

for that price, I will buy it, even if I won't ever build it due to lack of space (72nd scale modeller)... Supporting a young model company turning out such a great kit seems good enough reason to do so.

Who knows, maybe I will too. It looks soooo delicious.

No thanks. Please no more stupid competition. They're enough subjects for your two companies! I think it would be even wiser for your companies to cooperate than to fight.

V.P.

V.P.

Do you think it is a fighting? :D :D

With all due respect to Raymond, I'm sure if you did a Super Etendard, it would be a superior kit, but do we really need two new model's of this subject? Since there's is ready for release, Sio,maybe you can concentrate your efforts on something different. How about a new Su-15, not only being a train wreck in accuracy, the Trumpeter kit it is over 10 years old now. Or perhaps another Soviet/ Russian subject that hasn't been done yet.

I agree with you, I would leave the Super Etendard alone and concentrate on subjects that don't exist or that can be greatly improved. I can think of two at least, Su-34 and Su-35 that don't exist and two that can be really improved, a Su-15 or what about a Buccaneer.

I agree with the above. No need to do a Super Etendard. I also like the idea of a new (and to your standard) Buccaneer. Better yet, why not do a proper 1/48 Hawker Hunter? I mean, you'll have the market cornered with a 48 Hunter as the ancient and just wrong Academic kits wouldn't hold a candle to your rendition of one.

If you're going through the trouble of doing a Gina, why not an iconic aircraft like the Hunter?

Whatever you do, I'm sure to get it anyway

Thank you! Guys,

for your responses!

It is not a fighting. We are just keeping our paces........

See this!

So, let's talk here back to the title, MIG-31.

Sorry for starting this!

Cheers!

Sio

Sio, I have read the post, I don't see anybody here fighting. Just making suggestions.
