Someone, somewhere is listening...

Here's a Hiller UH-12 I saw on Scalemates

https://www.scalemates.com/kits/lf-models-uh-12a-raven--1461595

Note it's the early version with the sloped, not bubble, canopy and wheels, not skids.

Still, if I remember my variant history correctly, it could make several early military ships, USN, RN and French in Indochina.

Maybe it's already been mentioned, but another one I'd like to see would be the AH-54A Cheyenne.  The only options that I know of are the Atlantis (a re-pop of the old Aurora kit) and Anigrand (Resin) kits in 1/72.  I think either an accurate 1/72 or 1/48 kit would be a seller.  I know I'd be interested in it.

Lots of dreams everyone, I'd say the most likely to happen is the VH-92 Chicken Hawk and maybe the MH-139 Grey Wolf.

I believe a large scale (1/48) AW-101 is available as well as a large scale Chinook, S-55, 412 etc

Hi hemspilot!

To my knowledge no AW-101 Sar Queen ( heavily modified RNoAF version) and 412 is available in 1/48. For the H-19 (I stated S-55) we onlp have the old outdated Revell kit. But I understand that there is something going on with AMP?

The UH-1B has the Fujimi kit and Aurora kit, both made back in the sixties. Surely there must be a few modellers wanting this variant?

Check six and build something!

The 101 is available as the British Mk5, how is the SAR Queen heavily modified from the modelers’ perspective more than say an Italian Navy tactical one or an Italian Air Farce HH-101? Buy small appendages in resin or 3D printed, or do it yourself.

Sorry to say HEMS pilot the difference between a AW101 SAR Queen and a HH-101 will take quite some space to list up. Foremost is the double rescue hoists, and a 360 radar system with antennas (as mesh) all around the helicopter. Modifications to the tail-rotor system++++++

No 3D printer for me - after all is just a wish list😆

My wants all 1/48th scale would be:

 S-92 MH-92 including the CH-148 Cyclone

MH-47F/G including extended range tanks

AW-101 SAR variants including the CH-149 Cormorant old and MLU.

Bell 429

Bell 412 all variants including CH-146 Griffin and Outlaw

How about HH-53B/C in ARRS marking from VietNam?  1/35 HH-43 Husky?

I have a 1/72 OH-23D but heck I can’t see it!  How about the 1/48 or 1/35. I learned to fly in a 23. Great basic helo. Not a bad scout either.

All great ideas sir.   We can only hope.

AMP already does the HH-43 in 1/48.   Thinking it wouldn't take much engineering wise to scale up to 1/35.   The Hawk/Testors 1/32 HH-43 kit is pretty long in the tooth and basic in construction.

As I've said before elsewhere, I'm baffled as to why Italeri have never added a HH-3 to their helicopter range...

....it was used by the Italian military, so would appeal to their home market, and there are re-box/re-issue possibilities...

....the two obvious releases would be an HH-3F with Italian SAR and USCG markings - the latter adding to their other USCG subjects...

....and a Vietnam-era HH-3E with a Gulf War MH-3E as a decal option - again, adding to similar subjects, eg., their HH-53C and MH-53J kits...

What Andy said!  We've been hanging out in this styrene jungle or bobbing around on the styrene sea way too long without a Jolly Green or Pelican to rescue us.  Maybe ClearProp or AMP will come to the rescue soon!

A few for thought:

1) a new tooled 1/48 AH-1F (to include later Israeli Tzefa upgrades with markings for Turkey, Jordan, and Philippines)

2) a newly tooled 1/48 OH-58D Kiowa Warrior that is more detailed than the sparse and scarce Italeri.

3) a newly tooled 1/48 AH-1T ( this needs to have markings for both Cobras with HMM-261 that were shot down during Operation Urgent Fury)

4) a newly tooled 1/48 AH-1J (with Iranian markings included)

5) 1/48 AH-1J Iranian Toufan-2 (this is their upgraded J with flat-plate canopy and avionics)

6) more detailed 1/48 UH-1H that represents US Army aircraft such as the ones used by B Troop 4/228 in El Salvador with the ALQ-144, WSP, ASE, etc.
