Val K
I picked up a couple of jars of paint. My LHS just raised it paint prices to 2.99 for a 1/2 oz jar of MM enamel. It occurred to me that model paint costs $811.37 per gallon <_< including state tax. And people think the oil companies are screwing us? I used to work in the auto parts business and even high end automotive paints don't cost that much.

The_Animal
Hey, fair's fair - isn't that why they have those benches in the middle of shopping malls? Karl, you ain't seen my wife in a hobby shop. At 3 Floors Hobbies in New Westminster. The last time I turned my back, she was down the stairs to the model section (while I was talking to the proprietor) and when I saw her next she had three model kits and was asking me. "Honey, can I get this other one too?" My bank account runs screaming into the wilderness every time I think of going into the hobby shop, because my wife will be two steps behind me, looking for kits of her own. :D Edited May 24, 2006 by The_Animal
