Skyraider Maniac
Where are the inaccuracies in the Monogram kit? Off the top of my head, the dome on the tail if I'm not mistaken.

Matt Roberts
Where are the inaccuracies in the Monogram kit? From what little I paid attention to in the debate..... The wings were those from the A-6 and there is some minor changes between the Intruder and the Prowler (Raymond, hint if there are 'future' similar looking subjects coming!) Also the antenna fit was of an early EA-6B and not the ICAP versions (Improved Capability) Others will know more as usually Prowler talk made me reach for a TV remote and watch reality TV. Helo_Dud
Sounds great and looking forward to it. Questions, I see that it has the same engine intake problems as the Revell/Monogram kits. Are the panel line ingraved or raised. Trust me I'm all for this kit, but if it's nothing more than cut wings and light detail wing folds...well I can't see paying more than $70- $80 or more dollars. tomcatfan
I was hoping for Kinetik to release this item! I´m really looking forward to it and hope it will come without any major shape issues. I would just love to build a prowler without having to spend hours on rescribing and lots of money on aftermarket detailing sets. Daniel

f12aaa
That's a very good new. Please Raymond remember that the ALQ-99 pods in the Monogram kit are wrong, and the other mistakes of that kit too...
B-1 Nut
I have to admit, I'm becoming more and more impressed with Kinetic as the months go by. I'm not an accuracy hound like many people on the boards, so I've been extremely happy with their last few releases. I think this was a good, and very surprising, choice of subject. Kudos to Kinetic. pookie
That's a gutsy move. Considering the still fresh release of the monogram kit. Kinetic's kit is coming to a market full of AE-6Bs. I have two Monograms that I bought recently and I would be very hard pressed to spend the money to get another EA-6B regardless of recessed panel lines or details. Great news for raised panel line haters, and hopefully good news for rivet counters, but every body knows that bunch is tough to please.
prowler4
Humps and bumps are mostly the other problems. The most visible is the spine before the tail. On the real bird it's horizontal. On Monogram's it slopes down as it goes forward. Hard but not impossible fix. Waiting for Wolfpack designs on the new correction set. But Kinetic. Hmmm. Vewwwy Intewesting.
