Arne
Hello, This is my Hornet from Academy in 1/72 I used Parts from Aires for the Cockpit, the Nozzles and the Radar. Parts of the Gears are Scratchbuild, the Wheels are new build based on the Parts from Italeri. Flaps, Leadingedges an the Wingfolds are complete scratchbuild from the Academy-Parts. The Weathering are made only with Watercolor and a little bit of Dry Color Pigments Note the Area oft the vertical Tails to the Fuselage - this Area is complete scratchbuild corrected. The Decals are From TwoBobs, but some Sheets has not correct Colors - therefore i must paint the Indian-Head on the Vertical Tails from Hand with a fine Brush. I hope, you take some pleasure with these pictures and pleases me about your opinion. Greetings, Arne Edited October 6, 2009 by Arne

dragonfly
I just finnished the same kit....yours is way better than mine. Did you scratch build the ladder? Jerry
Harv
Wow. Really nice work there- The jet is OUTSTANDING! However, you better get 'nature-boy' off the roof before the Air Boss catches him - working the flight deck while going shirtless went out with Fu Manchu moustaches and muttonchops during Tonkin Gulf Ops... THX1138
What size are you ? Hobbit ? Amazing work at such a small scale. I skip 1/72 for that reason alone. But this has made me doubt it. Stunning.
