  2. Would SuperScale sheet 48-1076 work for you? It appears very similar to the markings on the Guardian Viper sheet. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/superscale-international-48-1076-f-16c-falcon--611344 https://mail.modelingmadness.com/scott/decals/super/48th/ss481076.htm
  3. That turned out awesome! I like the props with the yellow tips vs. the gray. Cheers...Ron
  4. This B/C should be a wonderful kit, with a few less foibles than the D. I did not like on the D the tiny bottle nipple looking mg ports, which look nothing like the real thing. I think for that alone, and the cowl fasteners, and the sliding hood frame thickness, the Meng D will be a better companion to the Eduard B/Cs. However, all the Eduard kits are worth it for the decals alone, especially to peel them over metal finishes. Even on camo they are superb, and among the best I have ever used. The Eduard D also looked really tall and tip toe on its oleos, as if totally empty or eve
  5. Thank you for looking and much appreciated, but I am looking for the scheme like Guardian Vipers 1 or the Caracal Dark Vipers.

  7. Almost all purchases shipped today. Sold items removed, a lot more added
  8. Ok I'll make the first sacrifice to try and make this happen. I have a Monogram F-86 and I'll track down the rest of the stuff the author used. I mean if it was possible in 1991 why not now? I was inspired to build an F-86H after seeing the one at the Strategic Air and Space museum in Nebraska. The one on display is painted in my favorite scheme, SEA camo. I'll cobble together decals, as I recall the markings were pretty simple.
  9. Those intakes look nice. Have you used them before? Do they require a lot of trimming of the kit to fit? I tried a similar project with a ton of your stuff but having never built a hasegawa hornet I messed up the flaps and ruined the kit. I am ready to try again.. and I will be watching.
  10. Greetings, The fuse is assembled. The Revell kit sports the later version with shorter instrument panel and correct vertical tail. The Eduard's instruction calls for shortening the front of the IP and install the PE part. Dai
  11. After doning the last steps on the build the model ist done. For more pic you can see under this link: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/350558-kc-130j-hercules-german-air-force-zvezda-172-scale/ Thanks to all for your comments.
  12. It was a pleasure to build this kit. Although there is still little information about the German Hercules, everything worked out well, especially with the paint. I am very happy with the color. The next model will be the German C-130J-30. I'm already looking forward to it. A special thank you goes to Steve. (A-10 LOADER) He did some changes to his model AC-130J Ghostrider which I could use on my Herk.
  13. The sling load is CF-01, the first F-35C. It was mostly a test airframe, not destined for operational use. More on this photo here: https://www.navair.navy.mil/news/CH-53K-lifts-F-35C-external-load-test/Tue-01242023-0936
  14. Looking good Jost ! Having the wings fit the fuselage so well makes it very helpful for painting purposes, so much easier. Steve
  15. And here it is in true daytime shine and color + the bombs and all that can be open/moved. 🙂
  16. AN F-86H would really be something - definately following this and sharing in the hope
  17. Hi again, One other thing that I've recently done was to make the "scimitar" style winglet tips. The kit comes with the standard winglets, and the lower scimitar blade, though the instructions make no mention of it whatsoever. See pic 1. Pic 2 shows the winglet assembled, along with the lower scimitar. Pic 3 shows the tip of the lower blade attached to the cut down winglet. Pic 4 shows the two combined and initial sanding done. I will need the lower blade set that came with this kit, so the donor kit provided the set of scimitars
  18. Hi everyone, I've finally made a little progress on this project after spending several weeks of upgrading and wiring the electronics on my fishing boat. Fishing season is here, so modeling updates will only be occasionally. I got the engines together today, and like everything else with these kits the fit was just okay. This time around though I glued the inner intake ring onto the intake lip part, then filled and sanded it to make one solid piece. On my Eastern -800 build I chose to paint the lip ring chrome, then super glue it to the painted inner ring in an effort to ea
  19. I believe the F-35 is the same airframe that's been used for various underslung loads tests during the King Stallion programme - apparently it's no longer required for those, and was being transported between locations to be used in a new role: https://www.navy.mil/Resources/Photo-Gallery/igphoto/2003451042/ As for the Herc's tailcode, no clue here...
  20. As a huge fan of the F-86, I'd be happy to see ANY variant in 1/48 scale in a new, state-of-the art tooling. Of course, I'd also love to see a 1/48 styrene XP-67 Moonbat model, also! 🙄
  21. I just placed my order with h SprueBrothers for the subject kit. I was pretty sure that it didn't make sense to spend the extra money above the Eduard Overlord Dual Combo kit for the P-51B/C, but it looked like the Dual Combo kit sold out almost as fast as SprueBrothers got it in stock! Plus, the Eduard site shows the Royal Class kit already discontinued. I'm sure I bit on the info that was designed to get people to buy, but at least I'm getting a few extra decal schemes, plus a bunch of resin, soon-to-be aftermarket items like seats, along with the planes. Eduard got me as soon naps I s
