  1. Whatever NMF subjects you choose, I'm in! Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
  2. I think it’s been mentioned in passing, but I see that Big Plane Kits (BPK) is releasing a 1/72 737-200. That could be a good canvas for a sheet.
  3. Dig that grey Indian scheme! Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
  4. On the off chance that you have an opportunity to do a 1/144 NASA 737, this one is striking. LINKAGE Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
  5. Here's an article I wrote some time ago about using Google's search. You can be much more precise using it rather than Invision's search feature. LINK Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
  6. UPDATED: No sales here so you can find the remaining items on eBay later this evening (Sunday night). LINK Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Mk. 22 (BO/S) with Eduard 73-436 details Airfix 1/72 A-4B/P Skyhawk (FS) with Eduard SS459 zoom and CX335 canopy mask Hobby Boss 1/72 T-50 PAK-FA (BO/S) with Res-IM detail set Hasegawa 1/72 Kfir C-2 (BO/O), two kits in one box with Eduard CX265 canopy mask (one) Revell 1/72 F-101B Voodoo (BO/S) Italeri 1/72 Jaguar T.2 (BO/O) with Eduard 72-276 (which is for the Italeri Jaguar A) Emhar 1/72 F3H Demon (FS)
  7. I'd love to see a line of "Danger" markings for helicopters, as seen below on a UH-1...but without the yellow band. Rarely does a decal wrap cleanly around a complex shape, so I think some modelers would prefer to mask and paint the band and then lay the markings over it. LINKAGE
  8. A mask would be awesome. Or more accurate decals. Slime lights are rarely as bright and clean as represented on decals. Steve Brown Scale Model Soup
  9. FYI. There are eight Revell 1/72 F-22As on eBay at the moment. And a ton of the Hobby Boss kits.
  10. I don’t have any experience with HLJ, but I see that they give you a shipping quote only for in stock items after you’ve put them into your cart. I wonder if you can put two similarly sized models into your cart and see an estimate that way? Or email them. 🙂
  11. Amazon is also a good source. LINKAGE Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
  12. I wouldn’t way the ESCI kit is that difficult to find. There are four on eBay at the moment and see that 11 have been sold there over the last month or so. I’m skipping the HB Skyhawk. The Fujimi kits are gems. Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
  13. I have no experience with them myself, but others shared their experience on BritModeller. Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
  14. Suggestion. You might include links to the club site and Facebook page...for those who are challenged by Google. 🙂
  15. Enjoy! HLJ linkage (Fixed link.)
  16. I love the idea of early F-14 markings, but here’s rub. Which kit should the decals be sized for? Hasegawa, Fujimi, Fine Molds, or Great Wall? (The GWH kit is going to be a D model, but we can assume they'll release an A eventually.) Discuss.... 😃
  17. Hi Chris, Are you looking for the Italeri kit in particular? I have the Hasegawa kit of the AH-64A (No. 22) if that would be a suitable alternative. Steve
  18. Here's a schizophrenic C-46 I found on Facebook. It's captioned as, "Republic of Korea Air Force Curtiss C-46D 0-7696 (c/n 33092 ex USAAF 44-77696) photographed at Hong Kong in the early 1960s."
  19. Here are some ideas to troubleshoot. LINK Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
  20. You might try posting to Hannant's area over on Britmodeller. They occasionally respond to comments and requests.
  21. As a blogger myself, I don't mind clicking into someone's blog to read their thoughts. After all, there's always a chance he has more say that captures my interest. Steven Brown
  22. There's so much to like here! Thanks, Mark! Steven Brown Scale Model Soup
