A Piaggio P.180 flew over me while I was in the parking lot of a grocery store in the landing pattern of Burlington International Airport.

I heard it from quite a way away, that's a distinctive and odd sounding aircraft. A very harsh prop sound. I thought, "what's that? I hope nothing's wrong!" Then I saw what it was. Neat looking airplane.

He was out late last night. Flew around 3 or 4 times and landed. I had my camera ready for him all week and he went up when the sun was at it's highest or after it went down. UGH.

Saw this plane parked on the south ramp at IAD today when I flew in. (this isn't my photo as I didn't have a camera with me) It's not often you see a B747SP anymore. Anyone know what the Sands Corp. is?

Found a better photo. And it appears it's owned by the Sands casino people in Las Vegas:

I was at the Robinson Factory in Torrance, Calif the past week for my safety course (New job, new helicopter (actually BRAND new...)).

Did however see the newfangeled R-66! It's got a brand new turbine in it, the Rolls Royce 300... Like 250, but better.

Just saw a P-51, F-86?, Spit XVI, Hurricane Mk II, & Mk XII, Lysander, Tigger Moth, Swordfish, Harvard, & a Chipmunk all in the same hanger. I said F-86?, cause it has a different mark wings and a different version engine, and a Tutor bang seat!!!

I wish I had a picture of it but as we were taxiing away from the terminal at Pearson, I saw an Air Canada jet (I think it was a 767) with a really neat paint scheme. The jet was NMF and painted and marked as an old Trans Canada Air Lines painted very much to look like the DC-3 in this photo...

It was really impressive and very nostalgic...
