janman
It's a bit shame that the FM kit only has a clean wing option. Now if GWH gets this otherwise right I'm tempted to postpone my Fine Molds order... It certainly looks good on these photos.
Don
Sharp looking images for a 1/72 F-14 kit. If GWH pulls this off I may spring for a couple. Regards.
habu2
Starting a pool: which Tomcat kit hits the shelves first - GWH or AMK ?

dehowie
Well GWH do their releases in 48 and 72 so how far away is the 48th one? Prob a year or so but based off the SU-35 it will be a ripper. Edited September 29, 2018 by dehowie

Dmanton300
It's a shame GWH only have the dirty wing option, leaving the modeller to pack everything away for an accurate Tomcat on the ground. An extra pair of clean wings (like AMK are doing in the 48th one - kudos for that!) would have my money. I just have to hope the upcoming Academy new tool is clean, as the FM D is unavailable as a standalone kit, and the A is out there but not terribly easy to find. Rex
lol, John or the A-6 series from the parent company
Hoops
I have one of the Fine Molds kits, which are very nice. I'll pick one of these up and see how they compare. I'm looking forward to having all of them on the shelf! Hoops

jenshb
Maybe it's the camera, but the nose contours look suspect to my eyes. Jens

Solo
Panel lines looks rather wide and not so subtle for me. Look at the panel lines on F-14D Fine Molds and compare:

The fit and finish of the F-15J and F-15C that we're on display right next to it were far far better. It was almost like they were molded by two companies. We will see once released. Falconxlvi
Agreed - look at the “frosty clear” canopy for example.

Their Japanese agent Pit Road forgot to mention that on the label.

ya-gabor
For anyone like me, who are not on fakebook. Here is a handful of G.W.H images of the new kit Parts brake down It is visible that there are several options in the kit including two versions of the wing. Here is the dirty one and the fully closed confuguration It is visible that the radar is also made for this kit as an extra. Best regards Gabor
